Fully qualified BSL/English Interpreter and a Professional Supervisor.

In 2008 I qualified as a BSL/English Interpreter with a Post graduate Diploma in Interpreting from SLI/UCLAN. In addition to being a full member of ASLI, I am registered with the NRCPD who hold the register for checked and appropriately qualified Language Professionals. My qualified working career began at RAD (Royal Association for Deaf People), I am now working freelance. Based in Berkshire, I generally work in London, as well as Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Surrey. I am happy to travel further distances to assignments on occasion.

I have a strong commitment to working with integrity, being reflective and accountable for my work through my regular supervision regularly both 1:1 and in a group. I keep my skills and thinking fresh and honed by engaging in frequent continued professional development (CPD) opportunities such as training courses, workshops, peer group discussions and reading the latest research around my profession.

I am available to conduct professional supervision every other Wednesday morning as a matter of course, although alternative dates can also be requested.
