About Paul

Paul started to learn Sign Language in 2001 after his niece was diagnosed as profoundly deaf. 4 years later he decided to focus on training to become a Sign Language Interpreter by first working as a Communicator in education and the workplace. He subsequently registered as a Junior Trainee Interpreter (JTI) with the National Registers of Communication Professionals working with Deaf and Deafblind people (NRCPD). He then completed the University of Central Lancashire Postgraduate Diploma in Interpreting and Translation at SLI (2011) and is now registered as a Member of the Register of Sign Language Interpreters (RSLI).
